Parent Education Night – October 29

Join us on Thursday, October 29th for a Parent Education Night from 7-9pm focused on parenting tweens/teens with courage and connection.

Sahara Pirie, a certified Positive Discipline Trainer and a Facilitator for Sound Discipline, presented a similar workshop for Eagle Staff parents last year, which received rave reviews for the helpful content and practical ideas and tools.

This time, Sahara will focus on connection, regulation and understanding teen brain development. We will work through some activities based on how to build and maintain relationship with our tweens and teens during this time of unprecedented stress.

RSVP here to receive the private Zoom link for this workshop only for Robert Eagle Staff MS parents. Space is limited, so please RSVP if you are planning to attend. All parents will be sent a link to the presentation recording, so there is no need to register just to receive the recordings. We will not record the Q & A section of the presentation.

Meet the PTSA – Curriculum Night presentation

In case you missed virtual Curriculum Night, below is a reenactment of the PTSA presentation given by PTSA president Jana Gezon. Take a look to learn more about our goals and activities for this year, and ways you can get involved to help support Eagle Staff students and staff.

Check out the Membership page to join our PTSA. The more members we have, the more we can achieve together!

October Grounds Beautification

We are looking for volunteers to join our efforts this Fall & Spring to care for the school grounds.  It means coming with your own garden gloves, weeding tools, face mask, and water bottle to make a difference in keeping our school grounds welcoming (during approved volunteer service times while maintaining 6 feet distancing from others)!

If your family is looking for a community service project outdoors, this is a rewarding opportunity to be a part of.  If you have a high school student that needs volunteer hours, we gladly welcome high school volunteers for this community service project!

Visit our Sign up Genius to choose a time to join us!

Neighborcare Health is OPEN!

While the school is closed this year, the Health Center at RESMS is OPEN!

We are seeing students in person and doing telehealth calls. We are providing flu shots, vaccines, sports physicals, well child checks, and mental health services. All our services are completely free, regardless of insurance status. We can function in addition to any primary care children already have as a resource that may be more convenient for parents once children return to school.

Students must register before receiving services.  Just complete our online registration packet:

Join the PTSA Community Engagement Team!

Looking for a fun and easy way to volunteer at RESMS this year? The PTSA Community Events team is seeking committee members to help throughout this virtual school year. A few of our responsibilities include:

Organizing and keeping inventory of the Ravens Care Supply closet, as well as heading up supply drives.
Planning family events, celebrations and representations of our school’s cultural diversity.
Planning self-care workshops online for students and families, i.e. online yoga sessions.
Coordinating parent education classes, i.e. upcoming programs with Sound Discipline.
Anything else you can think of that will help connect our school community this year. We are open to all suggestions!

We welcome all volunteers, no matter how little or much time you have to give.

If interested, please contact Nadine and Michelle at events@eaglestaffptsa.org. Thank you!
