DESCRIPTION:Inter­me­di­ate Orches­tra: HSNW region orches­tra con­cert \nOn Thurs­day April 2nd at Bal­lard HS\, the NW region is host­ing our annu­al NW region orches­tra con­cert. This is a chance for ele­men­tary\, mid­dle\, and high school string play­ers in the NW SPS region to play for one anoth­er\, and close the con­cert with a giant “mass orches­tra” piece. If your stu­dent did ele­men­tary instru­men­tal music\, you may remem­ber this event from years past when it was host­ed at Whit­man MS. It’s a real­ly spe­cial oppor­tu­ni­ty for all involved\, but an extra spe­cial chance for incom­ing 6th graders to see what’s pos­si­ble in mid­dle school and beyond. \n  \nBecause this is not a grad­ed per­for­mance\, it is not “required” in a gen­er­al sense of the word\, but I would like stu­dents to attend if they are able so we can show up in full force. As with any per­for­mance\, I am still requir­ing a parent/guardian email in advance to let me know if a stu­dent can­not attend. \n  \nLogis­tics: \nDate: Thurs April 2 \nLoca­tion: Bal­lard HS Audi­to­ri­um \nStart time: 7:00pm \nCall time: 6:20pm (there will be a quick rehearsal before the con­cert) \nApprox end time: 8:00pm \nDress: RESMS Music T shirt and Jeans (same uni­form as EBMEA fes­ti­val).
