School Picture Retakes 10/23 Thursday

Pic­ture retakes will hap­pen for those already signed up dur­ing SOAR squad. For those not signed up but want­i­ng retakes, stu­dents can come dur­ing Lunch 1 or 2.

Stu­dents do not need to return the pho­tos but they should return their stu­dent ID if the want a new one.

TONIGHT ONLINE:

The Seat­tle school Board can­di­date forum in TONIGHT from 7–8. As of this morn­ing ALL the can­di­dates have rsvp’d yes!

We plan to let them make brief state­ments, and take ques­tions on lan­guage (dual and oth­er resources); tech/AI; what to do with no bud­get; what are SPS’s biggest mis­takes and how to avoid them next time. Hap­py to enter­tain oth­ers, but we have to ask them all the same q’s, so will prob­a­bly lim­it to 4 top­ics.

The Win­ter Cloth­ing and Ski Swap will fea­ture gen­tly used win­ter

appar­el and ski/snowboard gear. This is a great way to recy­cle

your clothes and gear back into the com­mu­ni­ty and make sure the

whole fam­i­ly is ready for chilly weath­er ahead.

There will also be new clothes and gear to pur­chase
